D40-1990; 1941 Frock & Bolero

18-piece hand-drafted pattern originally by Hollywood, 'The two-piece bias skirt joins the blouse at waistline under a belt.  Gathers above high pointed inset midsection at front and below shaped shoulder yokes in one with back.  Short gathered sleeves.  Collarless bolero with two flap pockets and bracelet-length sleeves.  Eyelet embroidered edging is optional'.

1/2" seams are given.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS: Novelty cotton, linen, gingham, piqué, seersucker, novelty silk crêpe, taffeta, rayon, batiste.

Size 46 fits 46" bust, 40" waist, 50" hip.
